Special Birthday
I cannot thank Mark and the staff enough for making this the most memorable special holiday ever. The camp was much better than it looked on paper and it looked pretty good. The hippo pool just doesn't come across in the pictures. It really is a Safari in its own right and changes minute by minute. We watched a big croc over lunch along with endless Hippo. Our driver and spotter found us all of the big cats and masses of game in between. Jacob always managed to get the 4x4 into position so that the light was right and the resulting photos are excellent. I have never had a better holiday Liz and Tony Miles

quite nice experiences
Our team , 4, unforgotable experiences. Sep 1st to 3 rd. the nice camp, the nice safari, and the nice meal . Especiallly for the manager , every evening dinner , the warm welcome . Though short time for our stay, which wants us back in coming days. My friends , best wishes for you ,The guide william, the driver, Nicolas. 4 amazing days
Family Hamouth and their aunt Kerstin have spent 4 amazing days here – seeing and being fascinated by the gorgeous migration and all the other animals seen – living together in this great landscape. Thanks to the team of the Karen Blixen Camp and we will remember this experience a long time.

An amazing way to reflect...
Our team of 22 came here as a final stop on our way home to the USA. This was an amazing way to reflect on our time spent on mission and to acknowledge the beauty of creation by our wonderful God. Thank you to Karen Blixen team for an incredible stay. You are very gracious. Accomodations were spectacular. We will return! By the way some of our team experienced a cheetah climbing onto the hood and roof of their vehicle (and her four cubs lay down in the shade of the car!)

Charles – a star!
Fantastic holiday here – unfortunately only 2 ½ days but it felt like longer – packed so much in to each day! Staff truly wonderful – Charles – a star! Food, tents, fabulous! Game safari is a life time of memories, saw all the animals – lions, cheetahs, leopard, wilderbeests, etc etc,. Location of the camp here fabulous. Will definitely hope to return some day. Thanks to everyone (especially Charles!)

What a fantastic place. Scenery beautiful. Staff very helpful. Nothing too much of a problem. Guides very knowledgeable, no questions too hard for them. Wildlife experience out of this world. Worth the wait to come to Africa. Hope to come back again. Thank you to everyone for the wonderful experience. You are all lovely.

I want to thank the staff at Karen Blixen Camp for making my stay there so relaxing and memorable. Karen Blixen Camp was the first place we stayed during our trip before moving on to another resort in another part of the Mara. Everyone, including myself, did not want to leave. The staff are welcoming and make you feel at home. The food is amazing and I tried things that I've never even heard of and loved it. We are planning on traveling again to Kenya and plan on staying at Karen Blixen Camp for our entire trip. Thank you again to all the staff who make Karen Blixen Camp a wonderful place to be.

A slice of paradise
We truly had a fantastic time. Wonderful place and staff. A slice of paradise. Saw so many animals with our amazing guides Tony and Duncan. Thank you SO much to all the staff. A holiday we will always remember. Thank you everyone you guys have made this trip the best trip I have ever been on. I have never met people as kind and as helpful as you. Dear Staff at the Karen Blixen Camp Masai...
Dear Staff at the Karen Blixen Camp Masai Mara, Our first time in Africa and what a place to be! We have had 6 great days with game drives and we have seen everything from Lioness with 4 cubs, cheetahs, leopards, and the Big 5 (Big 4 – missed the rhino). We have seen a yellow snake by the pool killing a mouse, and we have seen a Tawny Eagle kill a green mamba and eat it just in front of us. The hippos are just lovely. We have had so much fun, excellent service, nice people and we have felt safe and taken care of – we will never forget this and all of you guys and girls. We’ve spend the most incredible days at...
We’ve spend the most incredible days at this great place. In three game drives and an unbelievable balloon ride we’ve seen and been close to almost all possible mammals in the Mara – including black rhino. We want to thank the fantastic staff at Karen Blixen for their contribution to this adventure of ours, which we will never forget!

Wonderful start to my 70th birthday visit to Kenya
My husbands present to me was a 14 day visit to Kenya. We arrived at Karen Blixen on 3rd January, 2011 to wonderful tented accommodation. From our verandah we saw elephants, a crocodile and a family of bee eaters across the water. We were serenaded ( if that is the correct term!) by hippos all night. Their grunts confirmed that we were indeed in Africa!. At breakfast each morning our table was taken to the waters edge so that we could view the animals visiting the water. The game drives were excellent, so was the food and of course the staff. At dinner on my birthday I was serenaded by no less than 6 members of staff and presented with a cake with candles, sadly only 3 not 70!! The only adverse comment refers to the swimming pool which looked rather uninviting, so although I had a massage by the pool I did not swim. That apart we would thoroughly recommend a visit ,early January seemed a perfect choice to visit.
