Karen Blixen Camp has opened our own Cooking School

Karen Blixen Hospitality School is proud to welcome our new students. Our Cooking School offers a professional, comprehensive and practical hands-on education; balancing between the classical and modern cuisine.

We plan to open a Forestry School in Aug 2012 and provide vocational training for youth focusing on growing indigenous trees for the restoration of the Masai Mara. We also offer IT and language classes for our staff and local community, women and men alike.

Set on the bank of the Mara River, the location is spectacular. Throughout the day elephants, giraffes, zebras and impalas come for a drink while a large hippo pod rest lazily in the river.

The Camp gives a feeling of the early 1920’s era with beautiful and comfortable furniture.  You will find that Karen Blixen Camp is a step back in time with the luxury of today.
